Job description
GSK Pakistan is looking for an Assistant Manager Production to support manufacturing operations at its Karachi facility. The role focuses on supervising production activities, ensuring compliance with GMP standards, and leading production teams to achieve safety, quality, and efficiency targets.
The ideal candidate will work closely with quality, engineering, and planning departments to ensure smooth production flow and continuous improvement.
Duties and Responsibilities
Supervise daily manufacturing operations and production schedules
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and GMP requirements
Lead, train, and support operators and technical staff
Review production documents and maintain accurate batch records
Investigate production issues and implement corrective actions
Coordinate with planning and engineering teams for materials and equipment availability
Support efficiency improvement and waste reduction initiatives
Eligibility Criteria
Minimum 3 years of experience in a pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing environment
Experience in team supervision or shift leadership
Good understanding of GMP and quality systems
Knowledge of SAP or ERP systems is an advantage
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
